So just like that...we ordered 63 bales of hay to be delivered to feed our massive rescues..then my husband comes in with a business card with a rescue on it, saying 3 horses need to be rescued that are in similar positions as our drafts. After some phone calls, the rescue is going out to evaluate the mares to find out their disposition before we agree to bring them onto the farm. Our main goal for any rescues minus our seniors like Nova/Spirit, who will be permanently here,will be to get them healthy and find them a perfect match to go home with. We created a PayPal account for all donations to go to, to help cover costs of vet/food/etc for the horses care. Some shots of my little therapy farm. Being a respite for a little girl next weekend and her foster mom says she will be super excited to get to come over to see all the animals. Of course I had to send her pictures of the animals. Hoping to add a few more farm animals in the next year for the kids and a wheelchair capable path through the property so ALL kids can go on a walk,playing with the animals. People don’t realize how confined people/kids become when in a wheelchair.
