In regards to Kiki's words, Elidi turned to face the wiccan, "It will." The witches tone left no room for discussion on the matter, no sooner had the words left her lips did the air around them shift within nature. Time passed as Elidi's concentration stayed focused on calling forth a storm, the sky above her home dark unlike everywhere else where blue and white clouds stood out vividly. Truth be told she had no idea how to activate a wand, and was relying on intuition alone. The pull she's felt since deciding to activate the wand now. Elidi stayed reticent, pensive while her gaze now lingered on the wand in Kiki's grasp. Tentatively digits pluck the item from her students grasp, hues intently focusing on Kiki as she spoke. "I am trusting you with something very... important to me. Do not misuse it." The first few drops of rain fell, splashing onto her arms, droplets steadily began to descend all around the duo. "Actually....on second thought" Elidi opened the screendoor, guiding Kiki back inside the house, though left the wiccan facing the glass so she could view Elidi still. Patting her shoulders a few times, the witch descended back into the rain, after kicking her shoes off. Rain fell heavily now, the air gray, growing harder to see through the foggy mist. She didn't mind the cold water, though the witch preferred the warmth of the sun. Her gaze lifted to the clouds, drops of rain splashing onto her visage, behind all the dark grays the sun still shined brightly. That's where she would harness the strength to do this, call a lightning strike to power this wand. Optics illuminated lambently amongst the gloomy atmosphere, the glow spreading past her iris to claim her eyes entirely. Kiki had been in danger far too much for her liking, luck could only grace her so much, why risk it any longer? Had something happened to her, she would only have herself to blame. As fun as she found their nights out and antics, no more games, no room for error. It was time to be a worthier protector, the teacher she should've been all along and she knew no better way to do that than with the power provided to her. As thunder rumbled overhead, resonating within the ground beneath bare feet, Elidi inhaled deeply, preparing her frame and mind for what was to come. "No time for hesitation nor mistakes..." The words spoken more in reassurance to herself, a pep talk barely audible amongst the worsening weather. Lightning sparked consistently now and as her hand raised to the sky with the wand clutched tightly, lightning beamed earthward, bridged from the heavens to the scepter, interlacing down her body in multiple forks. The force nearly brings her to her knees, teeth gritting, the scar on her back scorching her flesh every second she held the connection. As expected, like every other time, the pain was unbearable, flesh impossibly warm, every fiber in her being begging her to step away, silence the call. Her feet embedded into muddy ground, determined to hold her ground, she only needed a little more. Feeling the power embed into the wood, the strike tapers off, fading from the sky, the act really only taking minutes at most. The grass around her blackened and steaming as she drops into a seated position, welcoming the rain fall against her warm skin. Sparks ignited loosely off Elidi's body, the air around her crackling as she panted. A deep breath is released from her lungs, relieved that nothing had gone wrong, a mispark or the material bursting from the force. She falls back against damp earth, groaning softly, spent entirely. The weather slowly returned to normal, matching its surroundings. "Definitely going to feel that in the morning..."
