When everyone was petrified in Dr. Stone, their clothes stayed fabric, so do you think stuff like contacts or hair dye or tattoos or fake teeth or artificial skin or makeup deteriorated as the clothes did? I imagine piercings and braces and wigs didn’t turn to stone, but what about ink/dye? What if you had a marker splotch or a pen line on your fingers? Would your tattoos and hair dye turn to stone or leech out? What about pacemakers or metal joints or bone pins? Would they be preserved if they’re inside the body? Would they still work after depetrification? It’s based on DNA, right? So what about loose hair or dust or like fingernail clippings? Would those turn to stone as well?
