CROWN OF CANDY SPOILERS AHEAD ‼️ After more than two and a half years, many unannounced hiatuses, so many big life changes like graduation, starting college and transferring, I have finally finished my longest fic at 47K words, for Theopin my beloved.

It had been one of the few things that Lapin had agreed with Theobald on. Why was it then that he had resorted to self-sacrifice?
Keradin never delivered his final blow on the Chancellor, but the royal family could do nothing but run away under the assumption that Lapin had fully fallen. Escaping off to sea made it impossible for Lapin to reunite with his group in his injured state upon fleeing, so truly, what else could they believe?
