How does she know considering she just called Garrick a walker? Does she have a signet that allows her to see what signets another person has? This is my first read of this series. If I did rereads after I finish this one, I’ll probably pick up more about things that i haven’t yet about the other characters because right now I’m solely focused on Violet and Xaden. Please feel free to talk to me about your speculations or theories. I don’t mind spoilers.

I think Naolin is going to take over Theophanie’s place as a central antagonist and rival to Berwyn. If I were writing this series I’d put him under her command because it just makes a lot of sense. You have this priestess who thinks she’s a god and some guy who brought someone back from the dead, both of which had a weird thing going on with one of Violet’s relatives. Also, we have no idea wtf she even wanted in the first place so like. Yeah.
