I guess I'm just curious, by how does the Corpse class suit you? What lesson is a Corpse supposed to learn during the course of their life?
Sorry, I just woke up so this explanation is going to be a little sloppy.
Corpses, typically, learn about the value of life. Because in order to bring success or failure to their session, they have to die a final death. They have to learn to weigh the odds of their actions. And they have to deal with the knowledge that, in some cases such as with the Corpse of Light, their friends would literally be better off with them dead.
As a result, a Corpse (and it's counterpart, the Mort), is all about sacrifice. Will you give yourself up to give your friends a better chance of winning? Will you have to contain yourself, because your death would mean unleashing doom upon the session?
As a Corpse of Time, I'd release Time onto my session upon my final death. This would probably remove all time limits that come with the game, such as stopping the flooding of my land, and causing the Black King to begin the Reckoning only when you tell him to. Time-based stress has been erased completely. Therefore my death would benefit my session, but would only give my team members one chance to get victory right; I'm the time hero, and therefore can't go back in time to fix anything that fucks up.
As for how it suits me? Death, responsibility, time, and becoming cosmically irrelevant are big fears of mine. I can give up responsibility and the passage of time if I die, but then I'll be afflicted with the other two. To me, it's sort of like a lose/lose situation. I'll be unhappy no matter what.
I won't sacrifice myself in the end, in a stubborn effort to see the game's completion (and also out of fear of the unknown). And it's okay, because I'm of use both alive and dead. So it's not like I'm being COMPLETELY selfish.
