That Night (4 Corners Part 2)
The team decides to call it a day as it is getting dark and grabs some dinner before heading to the van. While in the van, everyone (excluding Lilith who doesn’t sleep) tries to catch some sleep. Bobby sleeps like a baby, but Rowan and Jet have mysterious dreams. Jet sees himself on a reclining but mostly upright table. A bright light shines in his face, and he wakes. His scythe next to him. Rowan has the same dream but can’t escape it. She sees the light go out, only to find herself surrounded by 2-3 Greys as the Hills described, unblinking, not breathing. When she finally shakes herself from the dream. She can’t think straight and walks out of the van in a daze. Lilith watches (as always) silently. The last Lilith sees of Rowan is her figure on the horizon and a flash of bright light. Rowan sees a Grey with the hills before she passes out.
Lilith wakes Bobby by staring at him and breathing deeply. Bobby awakes with a start and realizes Rowan is missing. After confirming Jet saw nothing except Rowan getting out of bed, Bobby questions Lilith who decides the best way to tell Bobby is to show him. She gets out of the van and walks toward where Rowan disappeared. Bobby follows but in the van. He is surprised to find the keys. Rowan never leaves the keys, and he is filled with dread.
They reach the spot, going at the snail’s pace of Lilith, only to discover four sets of footprints: Rowan’s (which they had followed on the way here), two sets of work boot prints (a smaller most likely feminine set, and a larger masculine set), and lastly a small set, which assumed to be a child’s. The strange thing though is the last three sets of footprints seem to come from and go nowhere.
