Looking for a bite to eat in SoHo? Here is a neighborhood gem. Each Wednesday we will post a Drawing Center food fav. The Frog’s Crown is a small cafe located on the southwest corner of Spring Street and Sullivan. Its extensive menu of sweet and savory baked goods draws from mostly Mediterranean and Latin American traditions, and includes pies, quiches, baklava and empanadas. Lunch wise, we recommend the Tortilla Espanola, the Latin Samosas, and the Moussaka (a greek casserole). When it comes to the desserts at The Frog’s Crown you can’t go wrong, but definitely try the guava chausson (a guava turnover), and the Papelon Limon (a Venezuelan drink similar to lemonade). The Frog’s Crown: 204 Spring St, New York, NY 10012, between Sullivan St. and 6th Ave. #BitesinSoho #Yum #thefrogscrown @the_frogs_crown (at The Frog's Crown)
