Out of Season
No matter what the season is,
I wish it were another—
whatever time of year I meet,
I wish it were its brother.
Deep within the grip of Winter,
Summer’s on my mind—
but when it’s blazing hot outside,
it’s snow I’d love to find.
In the Spring, in falling rain,
I wish that it were Fall—
yet sometimes on an autumn day,
I miss the flowers all.
If you wait to find contentment,
trust me, friend, you won’t—
the trick is loving what you have
instead of what you don’t.
Vivaldi’s L’Estate (Summer) from “The Four Seasons”, played by the Netherlands Bach Society. High quality performance and stylish playing from lead violinist Shunske Sato.
Have a wonderful winter weekend!

Dear Followers!
Today I will finish this exclusive and special week dedicated to the music of Max Richter, here at Musica in Extenso. I choose this last piece because I wanted to go out strong.
Today on Musica in Extenso
Vivaldi - The Four Seasons - recomposed by Max Richter
In this composition Max Richter extracted fragments of Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons and reshaped them into an entirely new piece.I personally believe he wrote this piece for classical music enthusiasts that have grown tired of the work due to its extrem commercialisation.
I hope you enjoyed the case of Max Richter! I want to say a big THANK YOU to the staff of Music in Extenso for inviting me as a guest-editor! Have a beautiful weekend!

The Four Seasons Season 2 David Tennant Cameo Explained: How the Creators Got Him To Appear In the Final Episode of Season 2?
It’s called manifestation, look it up! According to series co-creators Tracey Wigfield and Lang Fisher, it just so happened that when they were initially talking about actors who could come in and match Kerri Kenney-Silver’s energy, vibe, and height (Kenney-Silver is 5’10”), Tina Fey — who also serves as co-creator and EP on the project — threw out the Doctor Who and Rivals star as a pie-in-the-sky wish.
“Anne obviously has been on a journey in Season 1 and then Season 2 as well, you know, she’s trying to be Anne 2.0 and have this sort of personal renaissance, but it’s not going great. So there was something really exciting when we were thinking about a cliffhanger for a possible Season 3 of having a romantic cliffhanger, and someone that you would get so excited to see more stories with,” Wigfield told DECIDER in a sitdown for Season 2. And Tina, the first person she said was, ‘Well, someone like David Tennant, like a David Tennant kind of guy, as her neighbor.'”
Fisher and Wigfield say that they were expecting Tennant and his team to say that he would have to pass (he is a busy guy, in case you didn’t realize!), but when they reached out to him to see if he might even be interested, they were shocked to find out just how on board he was.
“We were so thrilled that we went to him first and he said yes,” Wigfield shared. “He flew in and we shot it — it was just the one scene — so we shot it in one day, and he’s so lovely and he looks so good with Kerri.”
Now, it’s all about waiting to find out if they get a third season so that they can explore the electric chemistry they discovered between these two actors. No word yet on The Four Seasons Season 3, but the creators are hoping it comes soon so they can get to work on planning out how to make Tennant and Kenney-Silver potentially fall in love (we can only hope).
“They’re both like long little stringbean people and they look so good together and had such nice chemistry that it made me really excited about, you know, a possible Season 3,” she said, to which Fisher added that it is 100 percent their plan to include Tennant more in future episodes.
