Chronological retrospective of my embroidery "back catalogue". Incomplete but fairly comprehensive. Just because I'm trying to get back into embroidery and thought it might be motivating to see the progression.

My pile of crochet mushrooms. Because seeing them in a pile made me laugh.
Finished sweater. Really happy with how it turned out!
Happy Pride everyone!! Life may be hard and bleak right now for queer people in many countries, but I fully believe that the future is queer and our persistence will pay off.
Here's my sketch for the basic layout of the granny squares in my recent sweater. In case anyone was wondering. The 5 + 5 granny squares on the side with the arrows are the squares that went at the sides of the body and underneath the arms.
9 + 9 big squares front and back, 2 x 6 big squares for the sleeves, 5 + 5 big squares at sides and under arms, and 14 small squares down the outside of the sleeves. Makes 40 big squares and 14 small ones in total. Single crochet join from the back, then single crochet blo ribbing at neckline, bottom edge and cuffs.

Today is the anniversary of this piece, that is still one of my absolute favorites. So why not a repost of it in all its glory.
Almost done with this sweater now! Still going to add cuffs, but decided to wear it as is today. I like this look too, but loose sleeves always catch on everything, so cuffs are just more practical.
I was up until six this morning weaving in all the ends, but it is done!
