So basically a group of Danes, lead by Hengest who may or may not have been a Dane himself but had some kinship to them, went to Frisia as guests to the hall of Finn. There they were assaulted by Finn's warriors whom they fought to a standstill, forcing Finn to reconcile with them by promising to honour them as he would his own warriors and letting them live in his hall in exchange for having them swear fealty to him. Afterwards though, with Hengest unable to forgive Finn despite spending the winter in his hall (pondering if he might again achieve a clash of wrath, wherein he would in his heart remember the children of the Jutes. - here the slain Danes presumably are called children of the Jutes) he returned home (Zealand?Jutland?Angeln??), gathered a warband anew, returned to Frisia, slayed Finn, sacked his hall and took Finn's wife Hildeburg who was a Dane?/Jute??/Angle??? back to her home. The end. Ok so far so good, but who are the Half-Danes? And more importantly, where's Horsa??
