16.20 and I've pretty much hit my day's goals. Over 3k on dcjbb, 1 page edited on thedb and I did a quick outline for a short. Not too bad.
So today, the last (thank fucking whoever) day of 2016, what shall I achieve? I think if I aim to finish the current chapter of my wip, ditto for thedb, and at least open iycsan's doc, I'll be doing well.
I didn't quite hit my days writing goal, but I didn't do too badly considering I had a bit of a fuck up at work which threw me for a bit. I did about 1850 new words and, (I'm not quite sure how to count this really,) edited/rewrote 406 words of thedb completely to read as 664 words in the fresh doc. And also, thanks to genuinely honest and nice human beings, I (shouldnt have/) haven't lost 30 quid of sales either (once they come back and pay), so the dark cloud can leave now.

So... That's a little scary. In a good way, I think. Finished the 2nd draft of Chapter 1 of The Doppler Bridge, and added 950 words to a 1700 chapter. If I keep adding this much across the whole 85k doc I'm going to go waaaaaay over my original 100k target!
Hmm. Wondering whether im flogging a dead horse trying to hit 100k for my Nano project. The first draft is done so maybe i should just focus on the second draft now and submit my word count as is, rather than keep on struggling to hit number goals.
What's the least nice part of central-ish Chicago? South? East? Names dont matter, just the vague direction...
