{{ CORINNE YOU GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW. okay remember that thing in the previous positivity posts about someone's writing like instantly clicking with you & all that yadda yadda. That happened between us like. Ten????? Ish??? Years ago. Again, I don't really remember where our friendship really kicked off, but I remember being so so SO intimidated by you. Your writing has always had such impact- something that isn't JUST nice on the eyes & ears (& good lord, is it nice on the ears- more to come.) but that made a statement. That spoke, loudly, proudly, confidently, of the message it wanted to portray. A dedicated worldview for every muse you've written. A deliberate study & message for those of us who had the good privilege to read & write with it. You use prose in such a fluid & dynamic way, that each thread really STICKS, really holds. I think about them for days after I read them. I always feel like i have to step up my game in every reply because you just.... are a master. Truly. I told you in DMs, but Nicole has stuck with me for a long time. Skulduggery, of course, loves her like his own child, & seeing her again ignited his muse hardcore in a way he hasn't done in a while. But besides that, she just.... impacted me. Her struggle with creating a place for herself in a world that treated her with such consistent cruelty. Her desire to protect her little brother. Her complex relationship with self responsibility, actualization, agency, & what it means to be vulnerable, with childhood, with things that she can't control. Nicole is one of the most developed & realized ocs I have ever encountered. She is so real. Like.... velveteen rabbit when you love something enough it becomes real, real. To me. & like. this is going to sound insane, I know, I take it full stride. But I have gone through a really long journey between family experiences & individualism where I decided I didn't want to have children of my own. But I want, someday, to adopt an older child in the system, & get them out of it, & show them that people can care about them & that they are worthwhile & worth loving. & there's like, two things. that play into that. One is a movie & I won't go into that rabbit trail..... But I mean it when I say that Nicole, as a muse, had an incredible impact on me to make this decision. Nicole's entire... everything. Her worldbuilding, her desire to protect, her need to be important, her situation.... it truly shaped a large part of who I am & how I view the world. & I really accredit that to you & your ability to write compelling & real stories & muses. & just.... bring them to life. Also for a while you used uhhhhhh whats her name from that anime as your mun fc. The one with the ribbons in her hair? & every time I see that anime I think of you. Anyway, that is all off topic. What I mean to say with that whole word vomit thing is that: you are such an admirable writer. Not only is your prose immensely beautiful, but every reply is so... compelling. & Rich, & weighted. It makes an impact. It says something. Watching your blog grow into a multimuse has only increased that, & proven to me further what a talented writer you prove to be- you manage to take the skills that you have in writing such fleshed out ocs & just.... do the same for canons. You make them relatable, & stable, & independent, & real. anyway I went on a tangent but that's all how I feel. I truly hope I can be as impactful a writer as you are someday.

A rumble echoed up his throat. Eyes, the color of sky, pried themselves open, dual lids folding back with a struggle. Oh... Brakkod Bren knew her, didn't he? The woman across the clearing. He'd seen her face before... with his other eyes, in a frame much smaller than the one now dwarfing her. His head lifted slowly from the jumbled moss. Would it be foolish to hope she would help him, now...?

“Promise.”

"You can stay...but don't hog the blanket." he warned. "I mean it, I know you, don't steal the blanket. I swear to God."

“I’m a friend… and he’s still alive,” the voice added, as though that little detail were a mere afterthought. If he played his cards right, maybe Patrick could return to his old life after all. “I put him in a kind of stasis. Your odds of resolving this crisis within the next twelve hours are much higher than his.”  

"We never should have come here," the klingon growled. He rounded on Nicole, fully armored and menacing. "How could you have just let this happen? What happened to you, back there?"
