i’m still lowkey excited for tara to come back. even if the writing ends up being terrible, at least the new costume seems pretty cool…

I hadn’t even considered it from this standpoint, but that could very well be. I don’t necessarily know that Lapis knows or understands what a tape recorder is or how it works, but I can’t imagine that once she learned that she would be very pleased...

So, you feel sorry for her and you want better for her but you feel that she’s kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy at times and unwittingly makes things more difficult for herself and invites the worst? cause that’s how I feel at least

I do! Their Amethyst and Lapis hair is killing me in the best way possible. I really like the way they draw expressions as well, and I don’t think they’ve boarded a bad episode yet - in fact, I think most of theirs are favorites of mine.

Hey, either way, I’m not going anywhere - I promise!

While the poll is close, it’s leaning towards me binging through the rest of the show, and I’ve now had two close encounters of the third kind over just the past handful of days. I know it’s not ideal, but I really want to maintain my excitement for the show, and if I end up spoiled on major plot points I know that I’ll lose some of that gusto. SU is one of the best pieces of media I’ve seen in my entire life, and I want to be able to enjoy it to the fullest. 

I will absolutely still analyze each episode as thoroughly as I have been and put those thoughts here, if that helps. And as I form theories, I’ll absolutely jot my thoughts down so that I can relay that back to you guys, even if my theory is dispelled right away. 

I really, really can’t. I just can’t! I’ve already spent over 2.5 years on it - coming up on 3 in April! - I just need to get on with it. I hope you will join me when we get started! (assuming we go that route!)

There was this post a while ago about how when you use a glitch to bring back a beloved character but they're not the same and you feel like a necromancer understanding the weight of your actions bc your beloved is back but it's not them. It's a hollow shell of who they used to be.

The knights are from an AU called Dragonlance. Some old school gold box D and D games were made of it. The magic rules there are weird; there are 3 moons, and as they wax and wane they govern the powers of good, neutral and evil mages (one moon for each alignment). and mages MUST join the appropriate order of mage alignment; those that don't are treated like apostates in Dragon Age. Also there are weird dragon people, Draconians.
