Who: @eviescore Where: Their Condo
She really hadn't done anything but sleep, numbed with the pills she'd popped before she'd eased herself into her blankets and let the world disappear for a while. Unsure if it was the ache settling back in as the narcotics wore off or the sounds of Evie coming home that woke her, the thought of moving was inconceivable.
"Eves?" Voice raspy with sleep and dehydration, tongue stuck to the roof of her mouth, she moved to shift and couldn't quite stifle the sound of her pain in time as white hot pain shot out in seemingly every direction from what felt like her entire abdomen. "Can you bring water?"
Christmas at The Stacks
who: @angstfactory ft; Mickey Where: Mickey's condo
Pulling her car into the guest parking lot of Mickey's building in the grouping of apartments that made up the stacks, Aspen stared at it for a minute as she contemplated the weight if what it meant. Mickey had just naturally expected her to stay with him, hadn't thought twice about her being around his boys like that, outright said he'd go to court over it.
It was really real for him. A fact both terrifying and exhilarating.
She'd already felt the weight of the keys he'd given her before she left, had felt it the entire time she was back in London, but now it was heavier. In the best way.
Using those keys to let herself in, she'd already resolved herself to act like she'd always been there. "Honey, I'm home!" Calling as she stepped over the threshold with her suitcase rolling behind her with its matching gift boxes on top, she let the door swing shut behind her after a trap from her foot.

@claudiopogo and @wysocka.magdalena take-over @archivalzone with their project @the_stacks
stacks were shot over a couple of visits at the New York Public Library's Picture Collection @nyplpicturecollection
About the Picture Collection:
"Since its creation in 1915 as a resource for artists, Illustrators, designers, teachers, students, and general researchers, The New York Public Library's Picture Collection provides 1.5 million circulating images clipped from books and magazines across 12,000 subject headings, from clothing and dress to military battles to insects. The collection also features extensive holdings of prints, photographs, vintage postcards, and greeting cards, and around 150,000 non-circulating reference images from the early 1900s and prior. The Library has digitized 45,000 of these historic items as part of its online Digital Collections.
The Picture Collection's unique arrangement of items into subject headings makes it useful to researchers in many creative fields, including artists; documentary filmmakers; set, prop, and costume makers for stage and film; graphic novel writers; and fashion designers. The collection has provided inspiration and insight to some of the most well-known and influential visual artists in the world-including Diego Rivera, Andy Warhol, and Taryn Simon-and it continues to serve the needs of the creative community to this day." (Quoted from the Library's Website)
The project is a work in progress and intended to become a photobook published by @outerspacepress in the near future.
We hope you'll enjoy browsing this amazing archive of photography with us in the upcoming few days.
Who: @holyemu Where: The Stacks, Emily's Apartment
The nice thing about such a large complex in such a small town, was that there was always more than enough guest parking. Making sure the makeshift curtains were pulled across the windows to keep people from seeing the bedding still in the back, she sat in the front seat of the wagon and stared at the words on the phone.
Why did he have to go and say shit like that? Perfect, lovely, shit that made her question everything she'd thought she knew about the past. Filled her pounding head with what ifs. Hands shaking on the steering wheel, knowing she was here to say goodbye to her best friend for a few weeks, she a mess of chest crushing anxiety and nausea.
Before she even knew what she was doing her hands were digging, scrounging through the console and the cracks in the seats, desperate to find something. Even just the- Yes!
A baggie coated in a decent amount of left overs that she managed the teeny tiniest line scraped up with the edge of her bank card, Penny sucked on the back after for good measure before tossing it to the floor of the passenger side. It wasn't enough for a buzz, but it was enough to settle her hands, to release the grip on her entire chest cavity. To function.
Finally making her way from her car and into Emily's building, she ran her finger down the list before realizing she didn't even know her last name and instead pulling out her phone.
Penny → Mm: what number do i buzz?
