I need to get around to switching back to Firefox...

My browser usage basically went Netscape Navigator (hush, I'm old) and Netscape Communicator, then briefly (and sadly) Internet Explorer, then Firefox, then eventually when Firefox started getting very RAM-intensive and chugging I switched to this new browser that had been out for a bit, called Chrome.

It legitimately started out as a very fast, usable browser. And I've had UBlock Origin on it for... geez, ages now. But Google, as all things that get too big usually do, has forgotten how things first started.

Remember the early days of Google? The core slogan of "Don't Be Evil" was supposed to reassure us that they were going to have our backs with all this stuff, and not let it go to their heads when they became wildly successful.

*sighs*

But now I'm told Firefox isn't a RAM hog any more. And Chrome has some shady BS coming down the line, very shortly.

And while I do still have my old backups of Netscape sitting around, maybe just going to Firefox would be the better choice.

Right now, though, I should probably go to bed because I'm rambling and it's 2 AM.
