Please read the Guild Codex
I desperately need more people read the Guild Codex series' by Annette Marie. They're so freaking good and the fandom is way too small.
They've got interesting lore and world building, great plot, interconnecting story-lines that work together and individually, Magic, Dragons, Hot Mages and Demons, and deep and interesting characters.
Really it's something tumbr people specifically would love, and really anyone who enjoys reading urban fantasy.
Every book is available as an audio book, and here's also a webtoon.
I don’t do this much but y’all, please check out this series and author, Annette Marie!! This book got me out of a 3 month reading slump! It’s sooooo good. It’s the first in a 4 book completed series that is part of The Guild Codex, which has interconnecting but can be read standalone series.
This is an urban fantasy series where a woman makes a contract with a demon over her baking! The couple is a true slow burn and and FMC reminds me a bit of Elain, in that she’s not a sassy powerhouse but a quiet girl who loves to bake. The writing was so good and easy to follow, and the tension in the scenes was chefs kiss!!! This series and author are so underrated I felt I had to post about it!!!! I’m so excited to make it thru her whole catalogue that all have high ratings on goodreads!
This book was like crack for me, I was literally addicted. The cover is kind of cheesy but I like cheesy covers but trust, this shit is good and it’s on Kindle Unlimited!
