This had been on my watchlist for the longest time, and I'm glad I finally decided to watch it. It deals with a heavy topic with the utmost sensitivity and empathy. Filmmaker Megan Park doesn't shy away from the hardest aspects of it, but she also adds a surprising amount of humor, which I'm thankful for. The final scene leaves a pretty strong mark, hammering down the film's overall message. Jenna Ortega is genuinely incredible in this, and both Maddie Ziegler and Niles Fitch give impressive supporting performances too. All in all, The Fallout is not the easiest watch, but it does tell an important story with the required care.

I came late to the fandom, but I'm so happy I got here at all. To wherever Sage (everythursday) is now, I hope you have all the happiness in the world. You created something so fucking beautiful and it will haunt me always.
