Reminder: the poll was about the time period from fall 2024 to spring 2025.

A majority (57.9%) answered that "Yes" KCIII was purposely distancing himself. In first place with 31.6% was "It was about sending a subtle message to the public about Will & Kate," while 26.3% just answered "Yes."

I suppose it's not a coincidence that King Charles publicly acknowledged Kate on the dais during last July's France state visit.

In third place with 15.8% was "William will be king soon anyway, so none of this even matters." I hate to break it to you, but William isn't going to be king soon. It's 20 April 2026 as I write this, and Charles will still be kinging on 20 April 2031. Better start coming to grips with reality that your faves--Will & Kate--are liars and frauds, while you still can.

In fourth place with 5.3% each was a five-way tie between:

William hates his father because KCIII divorced Diana thirty years ago.

King Charles III was visually separating himself due to W&K's maybe divorce

William does *NOT* play PR GAMES unlike his father.

Kate does not do bad things unlike Queen Camilla

Given that King Charles didn't publicly acknowledge Kate from fall 2024 until on the Windsor Castle dais last summer (2025), you do have to wonder what kind of secret separation Will & Kate had going on.

I'm always amazed when I pull troll-like answers in the polls, and then people select them. What kind of fantasyland are you living in where you're pretending "Kate does not do bad things," or "William does *NOT* play PR GAMES." You sound as if you need a mental health appointment stat! From fall 2024 to spring 2025, these occurrences happened in public:

November 2024: Festival of Remembrance where there was a large space between King Charles III and William. (Comparison from 2023)

December 2024: King Charles III ignores Kate while she curtseys to him at Horse Guards during the official welcome for the Emir of Qatar and his wife.

March 2025: large gap between King Charles & Queen Camilla's chairs and Will & Kate's chairs at Westminster Abbey for the Commonwealth Day service.

May 2025: large gap between King Charles & Queen Camilla's chairs and Will & Kate's chairs at Westminster Abbey for the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.

May 2025: King Charles III was not standing next to William on the 80th VE Day balcony.

Coincidence?

No big difference in the seats at this year's Commonwealth Day service.
