We wanted to share an art teaser and short snippet from Chapter 4 of Stones to Move, Trees to Speak

When Thorin comes up from dunking his head under the water, Bilbo is standing directly in front of him and Thorin’s expression instantly becomes more interested in the proceedings. Bilbo reaches out with both hands and smoothes back Thorin’s long fall of hair, made heavy with water, pushing it back over his shoulders so it will not be in the way.

Then, he slides onto Thorin’s lap with a contented hum, and rests their heads together for a moment, enjoying their closeness and the freedom of finally having a closed door.
