A post from โFaith Cast PHโ (FB) about a very well-known Bible passage! Numbers 6:24-26 is said by many, particularly in churches. My Pastor says it at the end of every service. I thought you might find this post interesting. Blessings to you in Christ! Amen! ๐
โThe Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.โ - Numbers 6:24-26
โWhen we hear the word blessing, our minds often turn to answered prayers, good health, financial provision, or favorable circumstances. While God certainly provides these gifts according to His wisdom, the Aaronic blessing reminds us that His greatest blessing is His own presence.
To be blessed is to know that the Lord watches over us, extends His grace to us, and gives us a peace that cannot be taken away by changing circumstances.
Notice that the blessing begins with God's action. He blesses. He keeps. He shines His face upon His people. He is gracious. He gives peace. Our security is not rooted in our ability to preserve ourselves but in the faithful character of the God who lovingly guards His children. Even during seasons of uncertainty, His care does not waver. His presence remains constant, even when life feels anything but.
Looking back, you may recognize that God's blessing was not only found in what He gave, but in how faithfully He sustained you through every step.
God's blessings were never intended to stop with us.
Throughout Scripture, those who receive God's grace are called to become channels of His grace to others. A kind word to someone who is discouraged, a generous act toward someone in need, a prayer offered for a hurting friend, or simply choosing forgiveness instead of resentment can become tangible expressions of the blessing we ourselves have received.
As God has poured His grace into our lives, He invites us to let that grace overflow into the lives of others.
In what ways have you experienced God's blessing and protection, and how can you share that blessing with someone else?โ
