gendry’s  words  took  her  by  surprise .  whatever  this  was  ;  this  unspoken  thing  between  the  pair  of  them ,  it  had  now  officially  broke  surface  &&  became  a  topic  of  necessary  discussion .  it  started  off  so  simple ,  he  had  been  one  of  few  who  didn’t  venture  south  with  the  army  towards  cersei  —-  she  had  made  his  acquaintance , sansa  knew  he  was  special  to  arya ,  so  she  made  an  effort .  sansa  wanted  things  to  be  different  now ,  sister’s  who  were  close  rather  than  distant .  

but  what  would  arya  say  of  gendry  asking  her  for  a  kiss ?

blue  eyes  look  into  his  own  set  of  dark  hues ,  sansa  stalling  as  she  tried  to  find  words  appropriate  for  the  situation . they  had  grown  to  be  good  friends  in  a  short  time ,  &&  she’d  be  lying  if  she  didn’t  feel  a  connection  brewing  underneath  the  surface ,  &&  clearly  gendry  did ,  or  else  he  wouldn’t  have  asked  for  a  kiss  of  affection .  

words  still  fail  her ,  guilt  bubbling  within  her  stomach  as  she  realizes  this  is  something  she  wants  to  do .  how  could  she  betray  arya  like  this ?  family  &&  sisterhood  thrown  to  the  wind .  

@thcbull​​  :  I  forgot  how  much  they  oiled  up  gendry  in  the  first  forge  scene  in  s1. me  :  when  it’s  supposed  to  be  sweat  but  he  ends  up  looking  like  he  just  came  out  of  blacksmiths  monthly.

          “ i can’t ! i’m too excited ! ” she’s nearly yelling , curls bouncing as she jumps and down , one moment hugging him , the next dragging him through the ancient looking corridors. for a year , she’s been begging him to visit her at this drab school but with each invite , it’s felt more and more like it would never happen. seeing her brother in this place , it was like someone had opened the blinds and let a dazzling new light in. “ oh , I must introduce you to everyone ! and is there anything you’d like to do or see or -- ” she nearly stumbled over herself before stopping outside her dorm room. “ but first , you must get settled. i can’t let my brother wander around looking like a hobo , sack in hand. ”
