Super important to get screened! Early detection saves lives. Hopefully in 3 more years, I am still cancer free, so that I can give a stronger testimony of early detection saves lives. #gratefulforeachday🙏 #needtolimitthestressinmylife💛 #thatsthehardpart Thank you @stefanischaefer to shed light on early screening and mammograms💗 #Repost @stefanischaefer with @get_repost ・・・ Ladies .... listen up! One of those things we just gotta do... the dreaded mammogram. Because of past issues, I first got my “baseline” mammogram around 35 years old. And since my husbands accident over 6 years ago, have had issues (there DEFINITELY IS a direct connection between intense and real stress on our health). For the last six years, my mammogram takes 4-6 hours... several tests, different machines, ultrasounds, MRI’s. It’s stress..... stress .... stress. But you just HAVE to do it! Last year, when my kids overheard me on the phone with the doctor to come back in right away for more tests... they both jumped in the car and went back with me. They sat with me for hours. This year... my daughter Siena and I made a date out of it... and spent the afternoon together. I felt so much better having her by my side. And ....this year we got some good results!!!! So, we had much to be Thankful for! So ladies... grab a sister, a friend, a mother, a daughter and make your yearly appointment. One of my best friends who is a leading breast surgeon and cancer specialist says unless there is family history or issues, start a baseline at age 40. Check up on your friends and make sure they are taking care of this! @clevelandclinic #SaveTheTatas
