Darry is like the mom (specifically the white mom cuz a Hispanic mother would never take shit) because the gang brushes him off a lot, they push his boundaries, they don't fucking listen after being told twenty times.
And for the most part, Two-Bit goes with it. He joins in, he finds it funny.
He's the dad, in the way that he plays along with the kids. But the thing about that is, when your dad pulls out his "dad voice", you know you're fucked.
When Two-Bit gets serious, everybody shuts the fuck up and sits the fuck down.
Darry tells Steve to lay off Pony fifteen times, and he doesn't? Two-Bit says it once and Steve backs off real quick.
Dally won't stop sassing and stressing out Darry? Two-Bit says one thing and he's literally snapping his mouth shut.
Soda won't stop rough-housing and is ignoring Darry's yelling that he's gonna break something? Two-Bit tells him to sit down and he immediately does.
Two-Bit doesn't pull this card often. He's a little shit first and foremost. But when Darry needs him to get serious? He gets fucking serious.
