I’ve been i’ve been trying to figure out how to draw Merlin these past few days trying to figure out my own style for him, and I can never quite get the eyes right no matter what expression I was doing. Then I realized as I looked closer to photos from the show and fully understanding who the character was that no matter what emotion Merlin was feeling, there seems to be always a look of defeat or a look of the weight of the world and I kind of. I’m trying to figure out how to add that to the sketches.
