baby it's yours nobody else's
Watching movies (for me mostly animated) sometimes I'll take a voice I hear and I'll put it together with a character. It's fun doing that especially with one of the Links. Sometimes it can be hilariously unfitting, clearly...but other times it works alright. For me it's usually easier to do with the original young Link since he doesn't have a voice, so you can take a number of different voices and it can work ok.
One of the weird realizations when doing it is remembering Link's age. Link accomplishes such incredible feats that it's kinda easy to forget how young he really is...I mean obviously he's a kid, but putting a voice to him just drives it home all the more. Cody from The Rescuers Down Under and Pinocchio are some of my favorites to mess with in my imagination. Dickie Jones was around 11 when he voiced Pinocchio so it works in that way...haha omgosh, funny...and ridiculously cute.
Sigh...Part of why I probably do this is because I would love to see an animated Legend of Zelda feature, but, geez... I'm kinda terrified it would be horrible. But whatever, the worlds not gonna crumble if it did turn out wretched. If I was a better artist with the right program, it would be fun to mess around with voice pieces and animate to it just to see...that would be cool.
