you hesitate, glancing around at the other players milling about, some whispering in groups, others staring blankly at the walls. the guards stand impassive in their pink jumpsuits and masks, rifles at the ready.

you nod slowly, the words sinking in.

you listen, your heart aching for him now too.

thanos nods at him, then turns back to you.

you watch as he joins namgyu and the other men, shuffling toward the bathroom doors under the watchful eyes of the guards. the dorm quiets down a bit, people like you staying behind on the bunks.

semi comes over and sits beside you, silent but supportive, picking at her rings on her fingers.
