Finally finished my OC redesign
I'll mention she is about 16-16.5 meters tall
P.S. the missing arm/wing is to showcase the plating that those pieces would hide, she is not actually missing an arm or a wing
Going through the TFP Art Book as my library has a digital loan copy, taking some screenshots here and there as I go!
1) Floor space scale at the base using Optimus and Jack for relative measure.
2) An interior map of the spatial orientation of Hangar E.
(Note: Where text/images/etc. are cut off on the margins, this is because the library copy I have access to has been scanned that way; Unfortunately, some words are cut off here and there.)
So, I burned through the first season of Beast Wars and the second season’s first 3 episodes, and I gotta say, I can see why this was the show that saved the Transformers franchise.
Animation? It definitely has a similar vibe to G1 that can make certain shit memeable.
Voice-acting? Oh the corniest. It’s a kid’s show.
Story-telling and character development? Phenomenal. 10′s across the board.
I do have some other comments:
-Why does BW Megatron say “Yessss” for every third of of his dialogue? No seriously. Every episode he’s in, he says “Yessss” at least once.
-Speaking of the Predacons, why does BW Megatron sound so elegant while everyone else sounds like their voice is going through some type of shredder? A good portion of them sound so shrill.
-Is Beast Wars considered a prequel or a sequel? Because I already know the show takes place in the past, but the Maximals and Predacons are clearly from the future.
-Why is Starscream’s spark indestructible? I already knew that fact going in with the Death Battle! G1 Starscream vs. G4 Rainbow Dash, but was it ever explained?
-Rattrap is my favorite character. That little shit is a fucking menace but pulls through when you need him. There’s no way that Brooklyn Rat wasn’t part of the mob.
-And if I had a nickel every time a season 1 finale of a Transformers show involved Unicron in some form, the destruction of Earth, a truce between protagonists and Megatron that’s quickly broken, and Optimus going on a dangerous, life-threatening expedition that separates him from his team but has him conveniently come back in season 2 episode 3, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice!
If you make a show where a character has an extremely complicated design and you never put them in clear lighting with no movement so we can actually see them you deserve to be shot
