"I'm afraid my parents are not home right now, Mr. Tonks, I'm sorry."
âDarlinâ I will be loving you until weâre seventy.â
Andromedaâs breath caught in her throat, but she didnât say anything yet - she simply curled up a little closer to him, threading her fingers through his. Really she should have been far too young to be cynical but she knew how promises like these ones worked â that they didnât work at all.
She leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his lips.
âThatâs very sweet,â she finally said.
Dinner || Ted, Drom and Tonks

She was glad it was dead, quite honestly. Andromeda had hated the crup. She barely liked animals at all, really. Her main problem was how it had made everyone so sad. For an entire week-- nothing but sighing. And only recently, on the second week anniversary-- if you wanted to be sentimental like that and they certainly did-- after the crup had coughed its last furball had they started to talk as much as usual. "Dinner," she called. She set the table on her own, making sure to put a lot more food than usual on both their plates; as a comfort. She didn't blame them. No, she felt rather sorry for them and she hated to see them so upset. If she was upset at all, it was because of that. She couldn't bring herself to feel sorry for the crup, though.Â
"Dinner!" She called again, because people in this house had time keeping skills as good as a blind, deaf turtle. Dinner now ready, she sat down next to the end of the table, next to Ted's chair and across from Nymphadora's. Potatoes, peas and chicken. She frowned down at it and began digging her fork through it, moving the peas around on her plate as she waited for the others to-- "Get to the table! Dinner's ready." And if she had to shout once more they could just starve.
