You mentioned Dinobots and now I just imagine them all fighting eachother for their humans affection. Like how they did for black arachnia in that one episode. But they're fighting to see who get your affection first.
Now Grimlock and Slag are scrapping it out for you and Swoop kinda just scoops you up while they're distracted and carries you to a cliff so the other two can't get to you and steal you away.

Trying to grab a traumatized escaped prisoner to run a proper investigation into his arrest is hard enough. It's made harder when there are 3 teams involved.

Elita wants him to "trust us to do right by him" so that means nothing could be seen as an attack and Chromia already shield-bashed him into the ground so energon cables it is.
It's not like he can get anywhere too far tied up. Right?
