‘He’s late. Prowl is never late!’

Bumblebee thinks, pacing back and forth so many times he had lost count.

It was supposed to be their date night and he hasn’t arrived yet, bumblebee maybe the faster bot, the bot that always charges right in… but never once is prowl late, he’s the most earliest bot to arrive ever.

What’s even worse is that he’s going to miss the most beautiful moment that sari talked about and it’s at their meeting spot according to prowl. It’s supposed to happen tonight and he’s running late of all bots!

“Slagging hypocrite, saying I should be on time but he’s the one that’s late!” He complains out loud, arms crossed and pouting as he sat down on an uneven boulder.

A low, amused chuckle rang out, making the minibot sit up straight and turn to the voice behind him.

“Because unlike you, I have an actual reason.”

Bumblebee, all too happy to see prowl, immediately pounced on the ninja bot, who didn’t even falter nor stumble when bumblebee was in his arms.

“You-! You! You’re late!” Bumblebee pointed out, making the motorcycle chuckle and pat him on the helm. “I know, I had a bit of a detour on the way.” He reassures, sitting on the grassy plains with bumblebee now in his lap.

“You?! A detour?? Please.” The minibot speaks out, rolling his eyes at the impossibility.

“That detour was being captured by decepticons and interrogated by your sire while having dinner.” Bumblebee, upon hearing all that, groaned and buried his faceplate into his servos.

“Not again. I’m so sorry, he does that a lot with bots that want to court me… apart from the dinner thing, that one’s actually very new.” He says, thinking about the other times his sire told bee about the bots that aren’t worthy of him.

“Guess that makes me the first bot to earn his blessing then.”

“Wait- what?! You got his blessing!?” Prowl answered by nodding his helm.

“Indeed, he said I’m not a worthy opponent in battle, but I’m worthy for your spark.” Bumblebee blushed before shoving the ninja bot’s chassis. “You scrap head!” He jabs, earning a warm rumble from prowl.

“I’m your scrap head.” He smiles, just then a faint glow from their frames caught their attention as they both looked up at the sky. The lights glowed a beautiful bluish fade to green moving around, both of them watched in awe.

“Woah, are they the thing that sari told us about?” Bumblebee asked, settling into his boyfriend’s lap as his helm rested against the purring chassis.

“They are, I believe they’re are. They’re called Aurora borealis, electro receptors that glow this colour specifically on this side of the region.” He told him, wrapping his arms around bumblebee’s palderon and resting there.

“They’re also known as fox fires or northern lights for a more ‘boring’ answer. He adds, earning a giggle from his minibot. “I prefer fox fires.” He comments, smiling up at the colourful lights.

“… mama’s gonna be reminded of carrier if he sees this.” He says out loud, making prowl do a double take. “Really?!” He asks. “Mhm, her optics had this kind of colour hue to them.”

Prowl… is speechless. This was the first time he’s heard of his carrier from bumblebee, he huffed with a smile, knowing full well bee’s not ready to tell the details.

“I’m sure she’ll appreciate everything earth has to offer.” He said comfortingly, grasping bumblebee’s servo as the mini squeezed back.

“Yeah… she’ll appreciate everything earth has to offer.”

Phew! Ok, prowlbee is done and dusted!

For those that don’t know… I kind of made this -> (parental megatron vs the popular ships) <- and after that I’ve written this ->(the good, the bad and the changer) <-

I made it a bit of a challenge for myself to try and write a story about each scenario of tfa’s popular bumblebee ships with megatron as bumblebee’s sire in my parental megs franchise, it’s a challenge for myself.
