Jazz has a reputation. One that's full of things both good and bad. Above all, he's known for snooping around where he shouldn't, charming all sorts of bots into his berth, and having his stats maxed out almost entirely into charisma.

After starting as a mech playing remixed classics in bars and local events in his home state of Nyon, he quickly gained popularity as more and more people from other city-states witnessed his talents and spoke of him with friends and acquaintances, and he traveled farther and farther from Nyon to perform. This eventually led to him getting recognized by the Senate, and he was given the offer of a lifetime:

Be a DJ for our high-caste parties and important events, and have the chance to live in luxury on the upper levels of Iacon City at a 70% discount.

Also, get free food.

And he took it.

Now, he didn't spend all of his time in Iacon. Whenever he could, he'd host events all over Cybertron for everyone, low, mid, and high caste, to attend.

Being able to walk among the most important people on the planet also gave him the opportunity to pursue a lifelong dream of his… Collecting blackmail. Now, most of the time it was for good purposes, such as preventing harmful laws from being put into place, or "convincing" a rich CEO of a development company not to tear down a building beloved by the community, but sometimes it was for his own gain, such as collecting personal favors.

Under the nasal ridges of his employers, he also used his tactically gained information to assist many Anti-Caste groups in collecting members for their cause, and providing them with maps of the areas they could protest in, along with schedules of the local Enforcers, to avoid risking potential arrests.
