The word Captain has to have some sort of meaning in the world of The Flight. It has been seen many times connected to important things, hints or clues.
- first the most obvious, tf! Captain Sparklez, he was kidnapped by spies with tf!Kara.
- in a lore book it was discovered the guardians of shield towers were called Captains
- Some spy/rebel report books mention their captain.
- tf!AJ recieved a rebel book from a “Cap”
- tf!Megii read the mana of tf!Juniper, tf!Sausage, and tf!NoName / Martyn. Her roots told her among other things “3 Shadows … Captain”

I love how some characters describe their powers differently than how they are word for word written, in lore books or in power / predecessor descriptions
for instance:
Ash calls his power shadow or darkness instead of Glitch (partly because his power in itself is a 4th wall break)
Captain Sparkles calls his power Balance, when in the books it is called Purple Justice.
For the ball tf!Sparkles would probs wear a purple suit with sparkles of power embroidered, like Blackbeard’s from Our Flag Means Death when he is trying and failing to blend in to the aristocracy
Captain Sparkles having the magic of Purple Justice and Kara having the Serpent Mana power and the powers being labeled as destructive if they meet.
