Saw a kid yesterday, probably about 16ish, who looked like he'd just stepped out of a portal from 1994. Full punk-grunge, half surprised he wasn't carrying a graffiti'd discman and listening to Nirvana.

We somehow have a whole bunch of flesh flies in our house (I say "somehow" but about two weeks ago I complained that something must have died in the ductwork, because the vents were blowing out a distinct scent of death), and despite being three times the size of house flies, they're significantly less annoying because they just gather at the windows and you open them up and six flies go outside
Anyway just ushered like fifteen of these things out the windows

Got lost on Pinterest getting horror novel recs, as if I don't have five thousand unread books already physically sitting in my house

When browsing cat videos, I occasionally see ones where they're like, "Just grab your cat's head and see what they do." And I'm like. I literally do that to them all the time, do other people not grab their cats' head? They fit so perfectly in a human hand.
Admittedly, Belle and Ziva don't love it, they tolerate it. But Ivan likes it lol. I grab his big head and give it a little shake and he's like, "Yes, Mother is claw-machining me, she loves me so much, I am so happy." And then he drools on me.
Last week I was browsing animal care jobs and one of them was at a draft horse rescue to clean stalls and help take care of the horses (I was not qualified because I only have three months of horse care twenty years ago under my belt and also it was far away)
Anyway while I sit bored at work, I just keep thinking, "I would so much rather be scooping giant horse poops right now."
