One of Faun's worst lived fears are 'Performers'.

Partly from programming, mostly from past traumas, Faun is unable to recognize humans or Civilian Drones in full body costume. Performers act as support when a Sapphire Drone performs on a stage. They are not only actors who support the Sapphire Drone's performance, but also intervene should said Sapphire lash out.

Performers wear costumes that change the face, body, and overal silhouette to confuse and also hide tools to control and subdue.

While Faun truly loves Cyn, when he meets her as TessCyn, he doesn't recognize her and fears it's a Performer using Cyn's voice.
