Favourite Rise episode (or if I'm being honest, one of my top favourites) is Lair Games, lmao, I just. I'm so impossibly fond of April's interviews and especially Mikey and Raph's sections. THEY'RE ADORABLE.
Fave scene in the movie is when Casey Junior is hesitating about taking the key, when Leo is up in the portal with the Krang. Oh my god. Yeah. The movie is filled with amazing, funny, anxiety-inducing, heart-wrenching and heart-warming scenes but somehow that one just... It makes me feel so many things and it lasts just a few seconds but those few seconds are incredible 😭 He doesn't want to lose Leo again, but he has to, because there's no other plan. And he has to be the one to seal Leo's fate. Ouuggghhhhh get that boy a blanket and hot cocoa and ten years of weekly therapy
Anddd fave thing about leoichi ship... Okay, first of all, I need them to be specifically my Future!Leonardo and older Yuichi. The teens aren't as interesting to me, BUT ANYWAY.
The fact that Leonardo gets a second chance at life, and finds romantic love in it. His nightmare is over and he can fill his heart to bursting for the rest of his life. He has a "rest of his life" now!!! And Yuichi is so so important because of his personality. He's straightforward, goofy, a little stupid, very loving - everything Leonardo didn't know he needed in a partner. They both have kids, they're adoptive dads, they know what it's like to have a big family. They fit so perfectly together and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.
