hiiii obsessed with bb series so far. can i ask about terrence as a character? i feel like he's very interesting to me as he's a constant in bobby and companion's relationship, but we don't know much about him. what does he do? is he also doing his own investigation? is he ever suspicious of bobby? he was one of companion's best friends too, even if they just met through bobby. surely he's worried too. is companion being erased from his memory or just from the tapes/pictures?
oh my 🥺 yes, that’s my boy.
ok, so first, you can check out his aesthetic here.
now, terrence.
he’s been bobby’s best friend since they were seven. same little league team, terrence got put in right field next to bobby because they were the two kids most likely to be picking grass instead of catching anything, and that was that. ten years of shorthand.
they’re less two friends and more one organism that occasionally argues about whose turn it is to drive and who ate the last pizza slice. they’ve got the kind of history where neither of them has to finish a sentence, where a single look across a room is a whole conversation, where they can fight viciously at 2pm and be fine by 4 because the friendship is too solid to be moved by anything and they both know it.
when you transferred in junior year and bobby folded you into the group, terrence adopted you on sight. “finally someone with taste.” you became his too. not just bobby’s girlfriend who terrence tolerated, his friend, separate and real. he’s the one who taught you to drive stick in the school parking lot. he’s the one you called when you and bobby fought. that matters for later.
day to day terrence is the loud one, the social hub, the guy who knows everybody and everybody knows. genuinely popular in a way bobby never bothered to be, never even wanted. captain of the lacrosse team, actually good at it, fast and a little reckless, the one sport at that school that came with any clout and he wore it shamelessly.
and he’s in a band. he wants to be a musician. wants it badly, talks about it like it’s already happening, “when we get signed” not “if.” the band practices in his garage and bobby sits on the amp and you sit on the floor and terrence wails through another cover and the terrible secret everyone holds is that terrence is. not good. enthusiastic. so enthusiastic. zero talent and a demo tape he’s mailed to four labels. and he will not be told. terrence cannot take honest feedback about the one thing he loves most, which is its own quiet little tragedy and also extremely funny when bobby leans down to murmur something biting about the guitar tone in your ear and you have to elbow him.
he’s also a shit-stirrer. that’s the core of him. he instigates, he dares people, he starts the drama and then sits back to watch it bloom with a beer in his hand like a man at the theater. but it’s never cruel. that’s the line with terrence. he stirs because he loves you, he pokes the people he’s closest to, the teasing is the affection. he was captain of team bobby/companion from day one. the one shoving bobby toward you, “ask her out you absolute coward,” running interference, engineering reasons to leave you two alone, suddenly remembering he “had somewhere to be.” when you got together he acted insufferable about it for a month because he’d called it and he wanted the credit.
Happy 2 year anniversary Final Fantasy XVI!!

COLLAB WITH MY SHAYLA

Ok look I understand that the lesson for the first tinkerbell movie is to accept who you are and be proud of what your good at but like I still be pretty bitter if I was a tinker. like can you imagine your friends having the power to control plants, water, light or even communicate with animals while your over here being glorified plumber I'd crashout
Country Alastor(s) Jamboree
Full picture of the cast:
"Country Bear Jamboree if Vivziepop made that instead of Marc Davis or the Walt Disney Company" or something like that.
To add more satire: Every bear would have a nearly identical design to Vivzie's favourite trope and almost no uniqueness that made them more personality to not only avoid being similar to each other but also their backstory, and their colour is almost the same too. Male characters would have more animalistic traits meanwhile female characters have little to no animalistic traits despite the same species. Then when people criticize that their design looks the same and has no contrast, the fan would try to justify by saying, "Of course they look the same, they're from forest/Earth!" The premise Vivizepop promised is abandoned and instead she focuses on her favourite trope and the ship instead of every character's story she should focus on in writing.
"Papuff what possesses you to that??? 😨" It all started with the trend of apple face when I drew that as Henry.
