#terra nova

It's been over a decade since Fox pulled the plug on Terra Nova after that epic (and infuriating) cliffhanger, but the love for this show refuses to go extinct. Dinosaurs, time fractures, Commander Taylor's secrets, the Shannons' family drama, the Sixers... it had so much potential!

Style: Anthology/collaborative – anyone can submit chapters, side stories, character arcs, or one-shots. Pick up from the Season 1 finale (the Badlands ship, portal issues, isolation), explore "what if" scenarios, new dino threats, Sixer backstories, future colonists arriving, or even wild twists like additional time fractures.

Rules: PG-13 (action/violence ok like the show, no extreme stuff), keep characters mostly in-canon vibe unless justified, dinosaurs mandatory!, and we'll build it together community-style.

黒檜山→花見ヶ原森林公園キャンプ場→駒ヶ岳という縦走キャンプで、新調した山道具の柿落としをしてきた。一月ほど前にルート周辺で熊の目撃情報が数件あったりしたので出来る限りの警戒をしつつ、熊にも人にも出会うことなく大雨の山を堪能できた。

テントは最高。インナーは持っていかず、慣れたフロアレス仕様で張ってみたが、ツインシスターズの1/3程度の時間で設営/撤収できて超感動。また、自立式なので設営後に場所を移動できるのも素晴らしかった。

唯一気になったのは雨水や土、砂がテント内に入ってきたこと。フライシートの底辺と地面の間に20cm程度の隙間があって、そこから色々なものが侵入してくるんだ。風や、虫もね。ツインシスターズはスカートが着いてて侵入を防いでくれる。

まあ、テントの周りに石を積めば回避できるんだけど。。と、気になったのはそれくらい。

ガイロープについて。オシャレだと思って黒×反射材のガイロープを利用しているが、反射材の恩恵に預かれた経験がないと思ってた。

もし変えるなら何色が良いだろうと思いながら山を歩いてると目に飛び込んできたのが登山道の目印に使われるピンクリボンだった。

確かに、あのリボンに何度助けられただろう。。ピンク色は山中で目立つし、見つけた瞬間、感謝の念が湧くほどのスピリチュアルなアイテムだったということに今更気づいた。

帰宅後すぐにピンク色のガイロープを購入した。
