They think the lingering taste of the doughnut he ate for breakfast would still be on his lips. They can't get rid of the thought as the two of them drive towards the school. They pull out their chapstick, taking off the top and spinning the little wheel at the bottom to push it up a bit more. They pull down the mirror and gently press the chapstick to their lips, tracing their lips to make sure they don't begin to crack as the fall weather begins to set in. When they're done, they press the cap back on and close the mirror, placing the chapstick on the dashboard.

There's music playing on the radio, adding some background noise. He taps his fingers on the steering wheel in time with the beat. They don't pay attention to that though, their gaze focused on his lips once more. Whenever he looks over they make sure they're looking in front of them, but once his gaze returns to the road, their eyes are focused on his lips again.

Eventually they stop in the school parking lot and they lean their chair all the way back before stretching, letting out a small hum as they do so. He leans his chair back as well and they look over at him, a lazy smile on their face. He smiles back and they unbuckle so they can turn on their side and get a better look at him. He also unbuckles and turns to look at them, and they have to remind themself to have self control. Just because they were crushing on him doesn't mean he was crushing on them in return.

He moves to press his finger against the tip of their nose and they blink. "Boop." He mumbles the word as his finger taps their nose. The action makes them giggle and they boop him in return. They go move their hand back to their side before he grabs it and places it on his cheek, smiling. They can't fight their blush as he rests his hand on top of theirs, closing his eyes. His skin is warm, as if he radiates heat and it makes them smile.

They sit up slightly, not moving the hand on his cheek and lean closer to him. They bite their lip, very aware they could kiss him. But did he want to be kissed? That was the real question. He opens his eyes and they feel his cheek become slightly warmer. "You're blushing," they whisper, scooting a bit closer to him. He chuckles and slides a bit closer, removing his hand from theirs. He places his now free hand on their hip, although there's very little force. They feel their cheeks become extremely warm at that, well aware that they're blushing up a storm.

"I think you're blushing much more than I am." They pout at that, which makes him chuckle even more.

"I could make you blush just as much." He raises an eyebrow at that, a smirk appearing on his face. He'd like to see them try. "Close your eyes." He sighs but does as asked, still humming quietly. They move so that they can get a good angle before leaning in. They don't kiss him, instead just getting extremely close before exhaling through their mouth. They can see his cheeks become darker at that and giggle. They go to pull away before they feel a hand on the back of their head. They pause, letting out a small giggle before kissing him.
