Hooooooooly shit, I can't believe Latiken actually got a sprite. There's something so oddly nostalgic about it.
I mean, I saw this art in early 2010's Pokémon YouTube videos back when I started playing Pokémon. I remember thinking "Wow imagine seeing that in-game, so cool :)"
I feel a little emotional now is what I'm saying.

I think it's amazing how evolutions change even before Hisuian times. It seems like the Lickitung line was way more focused on using Rollout as both attack and self defense (judging by the spikes), and only recently started taking a more "humanoid" shape without 'em. I've seen theories 'bout how that's probably due to more predator presence in ancient Kanto, Hoenn and Hisui. In modern times they don't really have that many predators anymore, so they can get fatter/bigger and evolve into modern Lickilicky!

Seeing spoilers made me very disappointed that Ingo’s plight was just brushed off in the game. So many people were hoping that plot line would continue in plza with Emmet or something! And judging by the leaks Gamefreak had no plans to continue the plot by making a new Unova game soon. So many fans made fanart, comics, and fanfics of Warden Ingo and Gamefreak just doesn’t care??? It would’ve made a great story continuation in plza but we just get small references.
Gamefreak has been making strange and terrible decisions with their recent games and I’m glad I’m not getting this game immediately.
