10 years of blogging - Musica in Extenso
As the final part of The True Story of Musica in Extenso (Part 10.), here we are... after 10 years of blogging. OMG! What? I donāt believe this... itās real?Ā
Well... I think, yeah! Itās 13 (Friday!!!) August 2021... and I donāt know how to find the right words, how to express myself (my English is far from perfect, Iām sure you know this, haha), how to describe my feelings. Itās so pathetic, right? I mean, as the Editor-in-Chief, I should write a longĀ āessayā about the past and to make a summary of 10 years. Well, I canāt do this, because, obviously, this is a long time and itās not just time. Itās an era... and Iām so thankful, that itās not the end of an era. This is just a chapter of an era, of a lifetime.Ā
I hope that in this lifetime - in my lifetime - you will be always present through Musica in Extenso, because music is a huge part of my life and I can express myself through music. In every post I always writeĀ āToday on Musica in Extensoā... and today I will also insert this short text again, but this time without a video.Ā
Today on Musica in Extenso, we will stay in silence. Because silence is also part of music. A very important part... and as you know (if youāre a MiE fan) our blog is on a summer vacation. So this silence is also a symbolic reference and also a motivation for me, for us, to continue our activities in October with refreshed powers and to start a new era... a new era with good music, with great people.Ā
On this journey, I will have the greatest companion: the heart of MiE and our Artistic Director, Melinda Beasi; the only and one, Artistic Assistant, Juan M. Orozco; the best in town, Guest Editor, Nicholas Olinger.... and of course, our 3000+ Classical Music Community.
THANK YOU! ā¤ļøĀ - Editor-in-Chief
