Cosmere Characters Read Cosmerelists
As requested by @captain-minnette. :)
Let's say that Cosmere characters found themselves reading this very blog. How might they react to that?
1. TenSoon
TenSoon: Hm. She claims that I am one of her favorite characters. TenSoon: And yet, I rarely appear. TenSoon: ...Which is exactly what I would want, if given the choice. TenSoon: ... TenSoon: Maybe she DOES favor me.
2. Kaladin
Kaladin: It's not that the content offends me. Kaladin: But no one could read this version of Kaladin and think it is truly how I act. Or how I speak. Or how I think. Syl: Kal, Kal, I have to read you this one--it's soooooo you! Kaladin: ... Kaladin: That's probably just Syl teasing me. Syl: [crying with laughter] It's like looking in a mirror of your soul!
3. Ellista
Ellista: So you can...take characters from a story and just make them do whatever you want them to? Ellista: Stretching the limits of their character as you want? Ellista: And making them d-date the people you want them to date?? Ellista [clutching her book to her chest]: A whole new world just opened up for me!
4. Steris
Steris: The author seems to have mistaken me for the most interesting member of our little gang. Steris: When anyone could see that I am the least. Steris: Well, she's surely the only one making THAT mistake.
5. Susebron
Susebron: To be honest, I like the beautiful world she paints. Susebron: Where I get to go out and do things and meet people and eat lots of food with my wife. Susebron: She seems to think I'm adorable. Siri: You ARE adorable. Susebron: I like how she writes you too!
6. Raboniel
Raboniel: Through her lists, we can determine her threat level. Raboniel: It is zero. Raboniel: However, I have noticed that the author likes large, powerful women. See: her constant lustful comments regarding Leshwi. Raboniel: She also enjoys violence and epic fight scenes. Rabonei: And giant swords. Raboniel: We can conclude that her wife--who is presumably a seven-foot-tall, muscular warrior--is the true threat.
7. Spook
Spook: I'm ready. Spook: I was an overdramatic youth who wore a blindfold and became a savant and had a one-sided crush on the Ascendant Warrior. Spook: I am ready for the mockery she surely brings me. Spook: ... Spook: I never appear?! Kelsier: I think she's afraid of your street slang.
8. Shallan
Shallan: I am not trying to be cruel, but-- Shallan: It's not very accurate lingustically. Shallan: There is so much of what I assume must be her own slang? And swears? Shallan: We just don't talk that way. Adolin: We kinda talk that way in Wind and Truth. Shallan: ...You have a point there.
9. Szeth
Szeth: To whom is she bound, that she is forced to fulfill the requests of her readers? Nightblood: Maybe she does it for fun? Szeth: Bound...to fun? Szeth: ... Szeth: Horrifying.
10. Hoid
Hoid: This isn't truly Cosmere characters reacting to anything. Hoid: It's Cosmerelists versions of characters reacting to their own Cosmerelists incarnations. Hoid: Which is somewhat meta and upsetting, if you think about it. Hoid: Of course, as the Cosmerelists version of Hoid, I know that my job is to pause for one line and then deliver a zinger. Hoid: ... Hoid: I certainly hope I haven't ruined this list for everyone.

Do you ever just go about your day and suddenly you come to a screeching halt realizing the mirroring of TenSoon and Kelsier straight up defying what should have been their inevitable fate and after being imprisoned for months they break free and spend days, weeks, months running, literally non-stop running and traversing a whole continent there and back again, running because of a hope (Vin) and their belief that Scadrial is not yet lost (Vin) and that they can help, they will not let anything stand in their way to get help to Vin and / or ease her burden of preserving Scadrial and its people, if only just a little bit, and they try and try and in the end TenSoon pulls out his hemalurgic spikes despite knowing this will cause him to lose all his sentience and in the end Kelsier gives up the Shard despite knowing that Ruin will tear him apart for what he's done and they sacrifice themselves for a hope (Vin) not knowing if they'll ever resurface from their sacrifices and because they know if anyone can save Scadrial it is Vin and also because they love her?

10 Things Vasher & TenSoon Could Talk About

If Vasher & TenSoon had a chance to talk (which is actually not outside the realm of possibility, I guess!), here's what they might chat about.
[THIS POST CONTAINS MAJOR WARBREAKER SPOILERS!]
1. That TenSoon is a Dog
Vasher: So. You're a dog. TenSoon: It is the body I have grown accustomed to. TenSoon: When it was first forced upon me, I hated it. But I have since grown to see the things it can do--the speed, the silence, the ferocity--and have grown to see it as--me. Vasher: Oh. Vasher: Thought maybe it looked like a good body to avoid people and take naps. Vahser: You are, as the kids say, "floufey." TenSoon: ... TenSoon: Let's change topics.
2. That Vasher is a Priest
TenSoon: You traveled to Roshar & now serve their god? Vasher: "Serve" is an overstatement. Vasher: I'm an ardent. Let's me avoid some of the worst customs of this barbaric planet. Vasher: On Roshar, the priesthood is often for those who don't otherwise fit in. TenSoon: I understand. I am a dog. Vasher: Lucky bastard.
3. Bad First Impressions
TenSoon: I can now say that Vin was my final master--and my greatest. TenSoon: But our initial interactions where she killed a dog and forced me to assume a nonhuman form against my will--that was rough. Vasher: Yeah. Vivenna's all right now, but when we first met, she was actively trying to start a war. Or so I thought. TenSoon: Why did you think that? Vasher: Because she was taking concrete actions that made war more likely. TenSoon: I can see how you got there.
4. Learning to Respect Someone
Vasher: What changed your mind--about Vin? TenSoon: Time, I suppose? I watched her live. Fight. Love. Try. Be human. TenSoon: She was magnificent and fragile, all at once. TenSoon: Is that how it was for you, with Vivenna? Vasher: Nah, I just handed her my evil-detecting magic sword. TenSoon: That seems...easier? Vasher: It's a convenient tool if you ignore everything else about it.
5. Guiding the Hero
TenSoon: Somehow, in the intervening years, I've become the sort of figure who appears from the darkness to guide the hero. TenSoon: You wouldn't know Wax Ladrian, but I literally guided him through dark underground caverns. How mythological of me. Vasher: Yeah, I've been teaching various protagonists how to swordfight and believe in themselves and all of that. Vasher: Got to attack Kaladin Stormblessed with laundry once. TenSoon: ... Vahser: You had to be there.
6. Using a Trick to Survive
TenSoon: ...And by convincing them that I didn't want to die in my dog body, I tricked them into "forcing" me to assume it, which allowed me to escape. Vasher: Classic. Vasher: When I need to kill someone whose talent with a sword I can't match, I give them all of my Breath. All at once. TenSoon: ...Which means what, exactly? Vasher: It's like I give them a sudden gift so surprising and so pleasurable that they freeze, allowing me to stab them. TenSoon: ... Vasher: It's less sexual than it sounds. TenSoon: Are you...sure?
7. Losing Memories
TenSoon: ...And because we enacted the Resolution, I lost memories. Not all of my memories, but some portion of them are gone, never to be recovered. Vasher: Yeah, since I Returned, I don't remember anything about my first life. Vasher: I feel essentially no connection to that man, whoever he was. TenSoon: What if he was a bubbly optimist? Vasher: Uggghhhhh don't even SAY that...
8. Passing Into Mythology
Vasher: You and I are old. Super old. TenSoon: [dog nod] We've seen kingdoms rise and fall. Vasher: Generations come and go. TenSoon: We've lived on planets where we became part of the mythology. Vasher: Yeah. I've been mythologized as multiple people, actually, as both the great villain and the great savior. TenSoon: I got turned into a stuffed animal. TenSoon: For children. Vasher: Yours is worse.

do the groundskeepers for the ascendant warriors tomb ever find the doors they had left locked cracked open? do they ever find tracks of a beast leading up to those door, disappearing after reaching the rug in front, as if the beast had chosen to wipe its paws off before entering? do they ever find that beast inside the tomb, sleeping against the warriors crypt?
later, on other days, do they ever spot that very same beast laid at the massive statue of the warrior's feet? as if cold unfeeling stone can ever replace what was lost? as if just waiting there for long enough might bring back what it only ever had once? as if a reunion could be possible without the beyond?
