Verse 2 - I think is fairly fuckin self explanatory BUT for giggles. Our emotional spirals are LITERALLY the skies of Duviri, "Watching Angels cry"... WELL. Margulis called us her Angels & the Angels of the Zariman stuff... "While they slowly turn" ..OK YEA.. Wally has been asking us if we hear the angels a lot & even Thrax remarks about hearing them while he's on the Zariman. Verse 3 - The first part COULD be like analogous to Wallys influence spreading to the Hex "dating pool" LOOOOL (this is a fuckin stretch & I'm laughing at it really, I swear) OR maybe referring to his influence spreading to Lotus. "Weak and want you need Nowhere as you bleed" The Hex were like.. really bad off before we got there. They were exhausted & beaten down... and now we're probably leaving them.. maybe they WILL die? Verse 4 - Rats are mentioned a LOT in 1999 (Lettie has a bunch) and also in Amir's text adventure where they take a pivotal role in helping you "escape" from the text adventure dungeon. Rats rising up to kill the one who hunts them ("Feast upon the cat") Verse 6 (Yes I know I skipped over 5) - again is.. Uuhh.. a little on the nose for the Operator & Drifter we've been called Devils over & over since forever, & Wally calls us Albrecht's lap dog.
