So with announcements of Jeff the Land Shark making his appearance in the MCU eventually I wonder what Bob’s and there others reaction to Jeff would be.
WHAAAAAAAT?? please omg. idk but here's some random ideas:
bob thinks he's the cutest thing and falls in love immediately but it was hard enough to convince the others to let him get a dog. a shark is not happening. he is sooo jealous of kate and constantly goes to her apartment to visit jeff or makes excuses for jeff to come to the tower.
in the comics jeff once stole captain america's shield so of course i think he would steal john's taco shield. this is the beginning of a long-standing feud between them. john insists jeff is out to get him and absolutely nobody else believes him that it's true. (it is actually true.)
growing up in a shield lab, ava isn't surprised by much. she takes it in stride. her favorite thing is to take jeff for walks around the block and see how he freaks people out. maybe an ant-man connection here too since modok made him in the comics. different modok tho so idk.
bucky knows the second he sees jeff that his team is gonna want to keep him. he's done with it already. they have enough pets! but he does have to admit (in his own head) that jeff is kinda cute. and funny. but he's starting to suspect john might actually be telling the truth...
at first yelena was iffy about jeff (he is GOING to eat her guinea pigs, she's sure of it), but kate loves him so much that yelena falls in love with him too. like ava, she thinks it's funny to take him to the beach and see how people freak out when they see him swimming in the water.
alexei was not fazed in the slightest. he insists that he used to have a pet shark. he takes remarkably good care of jeff when they are together. nobody believed that he had a pet shark but his stories keep getting more and more elaborate and everyone is wondering if he really did.
