Taking a short break from the pride HCs to draw two fantasy OCs of mine: meet Gwen (left) and Vale (right)!

Gwen is the daughter of a now-retired adventurer, and the spitting image of him if he were female and had longer hair. She grew up on stories of her father’s adventures and dreams of being a hero herself—one can often find her practicing swordplay in the fields. Gwen is bold, courageous, and daring, and even if she sometimes gets so caught up in her heroic fantasies she fails to take other people into consideration, she’s a great friend to have.

Vale is perpetually off in his own world. An artist down to the soul, he’s the kind of person to wander off to look at flowers and zone out while thinking about what he wants to paint next. He’s spacey and a bit of an oddball, but when he locks in, he locks in, often forgetting to eat or drink when working (totally not me projecting, nope). Vale’s thought processes are strange and sometimes hard to follow, but like Gwen, he’s a good friend to have. (He’s also, alas, one of those characters whose design covers other parts of his design. I tried to make what I did with his sleeves slightly visible, at least ^^;)

The puns, the dry delivery, the matter fact way of speaking, THE DAD VIBES. Nazir is the dad of the Sanctuary and you cannot convince me otherwise. During my first playthrough I ran though the ruined Sanctuary screaming "NAZIRRRRRR NAZIIIIRRRRRR!!!!!! YOU BETTER BE ALIVE."
