Reina is completely unnecessary. The Devil Gene storyline should have ended in Tekken 8. She is also incredibly annoying and an alpha woman wannabe.

Kunimitsu II is also completely unnecessary. Kunimitsu I should have more attention and I frankly find the concept of a blind kunoichi who can fix A/C units to be more interesting than generic go-getter ninja girl™️.

Heihachi should have stayed dead. If Namco wanted him to be playable in Tekken 8, he should have been a ghost.

Remorseful Jin is the better Jin.

Fat Bob is way better than Slim Bob.

Steve should have been part of the main cast. He is one of the best characters connected to the Mishimas while not being related to the Mishimas.
