The Teft battle was one year ago. Time flies like a windrunner. Time to read them all again. And hey, if you've got the itch to write some stormlight smut. And are in need of a versatile match for your lass, lad or lads. Why not consider Teft.

IāM SO HAPPY THAT TEFT IS ALIVE AND HAPPY AND THAT NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENS TO HIM!
ISNT THAT RIGHT!
rereading WoK is some experience, because when rlain is first introduced to bridge four, teft and kaladin talk about him, and kal says, "i doubt he's up to the task of being a spy" AND OH BOY OH BOY
Happy Good Ossan Day to all my favorite ossans š„°

My #1 reason for all my stormlight rereads. My favorite man š„°
Iāve been seeing some good old Moash discussion on my timeline and one thing I just gotta add to this is I think the communities reaction to Moash is a bit harsh.
Moash is an alternative path that Kaladin couldāve easily gone down. Moash chose fear and hatred towards light eyes and decided everything around him was the problem not himself. We see Moash constantly blame others (which honestly, I dont blame the man he got dealt a very shitty hand in life) and he wants to lash out against those who wronged him. He falls down this self perpetuating hole of loathing and I donāt ever really recall himself trying to be better for it, instead he found an escape through odium. He chose to have negative emotions taken away from him as it was too much to bear, and its a tragedy the only way he sees peace is by literally killing his past.
I donāt exactly know how to word this perfectly but Kaladin couldāve also gone down this path, and is just as easily justifiable. But instead we watch a redemption story, we see someone who chose the harder route and embraced the world around him for all of its faults. This man went through hell and back and faced a world whos done nothing but shot him down again and again, and found the power himself (which we all have internally) to stand back up over and over a better person!
Moash serves as a lesson in what happens when you give up, that the world around you is too much to handle, and ultimately he is suffering greatly. I believe his character should be pitied, or atleast an example of letting the world overcome you - EVEN if its 100% justifiable, will only lead to even more pain. We all have that power to be better, even in times you think youāre not worth it or you donāt have that capability, itās in you whether you like it or not.
Thats why sometimes I cringe when I see people say #fuckmoash, like maybe iām taking it too literally but I just canāt find myself hating him when he serves as such a perfect foil to our protagonist. And I know this is all fiction and these battles they face are exaggerated for storytelling - but thatās okay! Fiction is a way to explore how we might feel even in the most extreme circumstances, and it serves as a guide to how we want to live our life!
Idk this got super long but at end of the day I wish Moash got a little bit more recognition for his side of the story, it feels like a slap in what he stands for to strawman it as āhahaha #fuckmoashā. I get it he killed our buddies, but the reasoning behind it and acknowledging that part of ourselves that want to give up serves such a greater purpose than hating on him.
Look, there's no denying it. We all know Teft has some hidden sexual fantasy or kink that he's harbored for years. What do you suppose it is?
Edit: My guess is snowballing. Either with his partner the usual way or after he finishes he just gets down in there and snowballs himself
