The crows didn’t tear stuff up so much as break into the cloches we were using to grow some late-season vegetables. They ate everything they could get to, which left us with nothing but some rhubarb they didn’t know about.
My husband Saitama and I were too busy with the move to do much about it at the time, but rest assured I shall make sure they get a final goodbye before we shut the apartment door for good.
