How long had it been?

Days? Months? Hell, it could have been years for all he knew.

After being separated from his bandmates, from his friends, he lost track of time entirely. He couldn't at all focus on finding even a sliver of their auras, of tracking any of them down, of doing anything but finding sustenance.

But, after what almost felt like centuries, (but had only been a few months) he found someone. Eyes widening and filling with tears as he takes a shaky step forward, afraid he's seeing a ghost.

"I thought you were dead.... I.. I've been.. alone.. again..."

ears twitched and his tail stiffened slightly at the sound of footsteps approaching, and he froze, wide eyes staring up at the ever-familiar demon who seemed... otherwise unbothered by his arrival. ..he seemed far more annoyed by the fact that something had been broken. which was.. fair, he supposed, but still.

"...That's it?" he wasn't cleaning up the mess anymore, instead watching as mystery started doing it. doing it for him? clearly, that must be the case.

“Hrmm?” Zoey had worn her buns high today instead of low, behind her ears, like she normally did. It wasn’t a huge change, it didn’t alter her appearance much and most people didn’t even notice, but it did make her neck look a little longer. A little more bare. She had on a black blouse with thin straps and her only accessories were her typical earrings. The perfume she usually spritzed on in the morning after a nice shower had been conveniently forgotten in her haste to prepare for the day. To put it simply, she couldn’t make her neck more exposed even if she tried.

“Doing what?”The maknae asked, her head dipping to the side as she kept her face innocently neutral. Even if she had been doing something to rile him up, no one would be able to tell just by looking at her face. She had trained for this in idol school. Except for the sparkle of mischief in her eyes. That was hard to fake away.

”I’m not doing anything! Don’t be silly.”

Huntr/x tower had a thief. A rat. A dirty rotten little stealer that was stealing her stuff! Her stuff! Not Rumi’s, not Mira’s, but hers! At first, Zoey thought she had just been misplacing things. It happens from time to time when her ADHD was really bad or her glucose was running low, but then her cozy green sleep shirt that she *KNEW* she had left on her bed was gone. One moment it was there, crumpled at the corner of her bed waiting for her to wash off the grime of the day before putting it on, and now it simply wasn’t.

Letting out a growl of frustration, Zoey made her way to her closet and upon opening it, realized it was occupied. There, red-handed, stood the dirty rotten thief with not only her beloved green shirt in his hands, but the sweatpants and t-shirt she had worn to choreo the day before as well. Dirty clothes.
