“God, I should have known that moving back here would be like going back to high school all over again.” The words were muttered, Bree’s eyes rolling as she took in the group of people standing in the lobby. Jordan had friends in from New York, the handful of them planning on celebrating with their own bottles of chosen alcohol until the invitation had arrived. She wasn’t entirely upset with the fact that she was missing out, although given the present company it was close to a toss up.

Too busy shooting death glares at most of the people around her Bree didn’t even look at the things on the table in front of them, only turning when she heard Tina’s voice. “Partners, huh? I always knew you had a thing for me,” she teased the other girl, reaching out to grab the map. “It’s almost pathetic how simple this thing is.” With a point to the looming staircase in front of them she headed towards it confidently, hoping to just get it all over with as quickly as possible.
